Trying to stay stylish during pregnancy is a struggle but I think super important. It’s hard to try and find clothes to wear in that middle stage where you can notice a bump but to someone else it could easily just be a ‘bit of a belly.’ I found as early as 10 weeks my normal jeans were starting to feel snug. Maternity clothing is really limited and I’ve found goes from one extreme to the other. I find quite a lot of it super mumsy and old which is completely not the look I’m going for as I’m still young.
For jeans I think Topshop and Asos is quite good. Asos offers more variety but if you prefer somewhere you can go in to try on, Topshop usually has a few options if the store is big enough. I’m usually a size 6 and have been wearing size 8 maternity jeans for comfort. They’re quite annoying and I feel I’m forever pulling them up but I prefer that than something tight and uncomfy. This mustard top I’m wearing is from Asos Maternity and I also have it in pink. I’ve paired it with these Asos biker boots and a leather jacket from Mango. My jeans are Topshop Maternity. I’ve recently just bought 2 black pairs of Maternity leggings from Asos which are amazing! I’d live in them if I could. I was never a legging fan before pregnancy but they’re so comfy and the band comes over your bump which I love. I’d recommend getting these in your size or a size smaller as I found came up quite big. (I got an 8 and wish I’d gone for the 6)
I’ve found that I’m still able to buy tops from normal sections in most shops, as long as the style is right, just getting the size bigger. This shirt is from Whistles, I’ve still got plenty of room even with bump and the length is great. My boots are last season Kurt Geiger but they always have this style in there. Autumn is my favourite time of year for fashion. I love layering and wearing hats and scarves. My hat here is from Topshop, they along with Zara do some lovely big knit scarves that I’m loving to cover me and bump. They look great along with a coat or jacket and also can be worn as wrap cover up. I find keeping my clothes fairly basic this season but accessorising with layers, hats and scarves looks great. It’s also easier for us with a bump as a plain comfy T can still look stylish.
I hope this helps some of you lovely pregnant ladies. Let me know how you all get on! H xx
Autumn is definitely my favourite time of year. I love getting wrapped up in winter knits and coats. I always think everything looks so pretty too, the colours of autumn are so lovely and makes me so excited for Christmas. We both love the colours that are asociated with this time of year. I found this khaki knit from H&M (they had a few alternate colours) This length is great to cover bump and keep warm. You could also layer this with a leather jacket and chunky boots which is how I’m going to wear it next. I’ve paired mine with a long khaki mac from ASOS and my all time favouirte heeled trainers from Isabel Marrant. They are so comfy and look great with everything.. To be honest I want them in every colour!!
I absolutely love this look Mallory is wearing, we have really different styles but this is definitely something I’d steal if we both still lived at home. She looks so stylish and seasonal, I just love it. Her shirt is from Miss Guided and her sleeveless grey coat is New Look. This is such a great piece to have in your wardrobe as it’s a great layer item and is so versitile. This would look good with a polo neck underneath or a nice pair of heels for an evening look. I have one in beige and am living in it. Her grey hat is also ASOS, the pom pom detail makes it so different and brings the outfit together perfectly. Her over the knee flat boots are Kurt Geiger who are amazing for boots, they have such a big variety.
This picture of Blythe and Mallory is so cute, they look adorable! She loves stealing our accesorises and is obsessed with hats at the moment. I think she’s going to be a little fashionista in a few years. Love H xx
On Wednesdays we wear pink…
In honour of pink October and Wednesdays I am wearing pink.
I love wearing colour all year round. When it starts getting cold people tend to put their summer brights away and only wear dark colours but you should definitely keep colour in your wardrobe whatever the weather! Whilst I love black as much as the next girl I like to try and wear colours when I can, it always makes me feel bright and happy and makes a great statement piece.
Pink is one of my favourite colours, it’s so versatile and such a fun colour to wear. Lots of people avoid the colour pink but I think it’s such an easy colour to wear and really does suit all skintones. Whether your wearing a pretty nude pink or a bright pink it’s so simple to incorporate into your outfit. It looks great with denim as I’m wearing it here or you could pair it with black jeans or leather for a smarter evening look.
I absolutely love this pink coat from Zara it really brightens things up especially on a grey autumn day! My white blouse is from New Look which looks great agaisnt such a bright colour. It softens the look and keeps your attention on the pink. My jeans are from Asos, the ripped boyfriend style denim stop this outfit from being too sickly sweet and gives it a more casual feel. I love mixing styles together. My shoes are from Topshop and are super comfy, a great pair of nude shoes are a real essential so finding a comfy pair is important. I wear these all the time as they can so easily be dressed up or down and I can last longer than 5 minutes in them!
My cute nude bag is Mulberry, I love the quality of Mulberry handbags and this is one of my absolute favourites. The size is so perfect. It can be used from day to night as it’s quite roomy inside allowing room for not only your lipstick. It also makes a great occasion bag, I often use it for weddings. I love the chain and that it can be worn over my shoulder or carried in my hand giving me the option. The flower clasp detail and edging are so pretty and make it really stand out. Accesories are everything so having a good handbag really brings an outfit together.

Shopping for a last minute trip out of season can be quite tough, but if you’re lucky you can pick stuff up in the sales online. My go to destination for last minute items is always Asos, they never let me down! (they have a really reliable next day delivery service) Dubai especially can be a tricky place to shop for because of the strict culture. Although it’s fine to wear your normal holiday clothing, you just have to be aware of their culture and ensure you cover up a bit more when walking around. The Dubai Malls are really popular for both tourists and locals so I’d always recommend bringing something to cover your shoulders like a light cardy or shawl, not only that but the aircon is usually always freezing!
I love this playsuit I got from Asos, the colour is amazing and looks fab with a tan. I love the pretty off the shoulder style. It’s a really nice light material which is perfect for the dubai heat and great to chuck on over a bikini. It looks great with a pair of statement gladiator sandals. Aldo do some amazing ones!
I also picked up this co ord set from Asos which I love. The top is cropped and also has an off the shoulder style. The shorts are a longer boyfriend style which is great when I’m constantly bending down with my little girl, they are super comfortable and really easy to wear. They’re a great holiday item as they’re so versatile and could be worn with just a simple black top or chucked on over a swimming costume. I love the elephant print with the coin embellished trim, it makes such a cute set look look really glam. I’ve also worn this in the evening with a pair of chunky wedges. (before I had a 10 month old to run after!!)
Kaftans and kimonos are great and kimonos especially were a really big trend this summer, so you can pick them up on the high street really easily. This maxi kaftan is perfect for Dubai, it’s embellised and detailed adding a touch of glamour to your beach look. I picked it up in Tkmaxx which can be great for one off items, but you can find similar styles across the high street. I love the pink and orange with the deep v neck, it’s perfect to wear for a beach lunch or to throw on over a bikini for a pool party. Dubai is so humid so I’d say stock up on light kaftans like this for your day looks, keeping you cool and glam.
The Over The Knee Boot.
This season it’s all about the over the knee boot. They’re definitely something to get excited about when saying goodbye to the sun. When you pull them on (it may take you a while!!) they instantly make you feel fab. Here are a few of our top tips for styling them and getting it right..
First things first choose your boots, this style looks great with a heel or flat, in leather or suede and we love them all! Our main advice would be to watch what you pair your boots with as you want to keep it classy. Pair them with something too revealing and your look becomes more ‘pretty woman’ than chic! Saying that, don’t be afraid to flash a little bit of skin, because if you’ve got it, flaunt it. I think a boho dress looks amazing with an over knee boot, think Kate Moss, showing that little bit of leg is sexy but sophisticated and will leave you feeling like you just stepped off a catwalk. I’m wearing a black dress from Mango with my favourite Stuart Weitzman boots, I love this look, it’s perfect to take from day to night, team it with a hat and waistcoat for day and add a smokey eye for date night.
Jeans or a leather trouser also work so well with over the knee boots. Hattie’s look is smart but casual, it’s the kind of thing she wears for a girly day out as the boots are super comfy and a great height. Hattie is wearing maternity jeans from Topshop, a sleeveless coat from Asos and basic knit and boots from Zara.
My look is more suited for dinner and drinks but could be made into a day look by swapping the leather trousers for jeans and a white blouse instead of black. I am wearing leather trousers from Asos, a basic top from Asos, an embellished jacket from Zara and my favourite new Stuart Weitzman boots. I want them in every colour!
Let us know how you get on!

How to work a white shirt.
You can never go wrong with a basic white shirt, a timless classic. You can dress them, up, down, rock an androgonous look, or edge them up with leather, the variations are endless. A staple item every wardrobe needs.
I love how different our looks are here even though we are both wearing white shirts and black jeans. Mallory and I both have such different styles, I’m definitely a lot more simplistic with my style, I live in neutrals and jeans. That’s always my go to outfit. Since being pregnant I’ve stuck with my trusty neutrals, just wearing longer tees to cover my ever growing bump.
Im wearing a white maternity shirt and black maternity jeans from Topshop. My leather jacket is from Mango and my trainers are Zara.
Mallory loves embellishment, her style is much more dressed up then mine. She tends to be quite bohemiean, she lives in floaty blouses and shirts with pretty detailing, her style is much more girly.
Mallory is wearing a white shirt from Newlook, black jeans from riverisland, Zara fringed boots and a Zara embellished waistcoat.
