Matalan styling tips..

Matalan has always been a family favourite since I was a little girl. My mum used to take us and we’d spend hours in their looking through all the different departments and honestly used to have so much fun. Now I’m a mum myself I love it even more. It has something for everyone. I think one of the main things I love about it is the value for money, children grow out of things so quickly so I always look for things that are reasonable but last the copious amounts of washes. I’ve picked out some of my favourite summer pieces for me and the boys and am going to show you how I’ve styled it and other ways it would work too.

The floral two piece of dreams! These colours together are amazing! I love bright colours in the summer and yellow with a tan looks incredible. You could pair this with trainers, sandals or wedges. You could always wear them as separates. The shorts would work with a simple white T and trainers and the top could be paired with jeans for a gorgeous effortless look. This is amazing value for money as you can wear this look so many ways! It’s like 5 outfits in 1.
I’m in love with this off the shoulder white dress. Again it’s so versatile like I find with so many things from Matalan. This would be gorgeous on holiday with white or beige sandals/wedges. The boys shorts and braces sets I paired with a plain navy tshirt to keep it nice and casual but this is actually sold with a white shirt which is also super cute for a special occasion. Their navy sandals come in brown too and go with everything. They’re great because they stay on their feet without their toes hanging over the front.
I mean these outfits just speak for themselves!!! How unbelievably cute are they!!! This comes as a set and is perfect for a summer wedding or a special occasion. You could always take the bow tie off if you wanted to make it more casual too.
This red and white striped button up red and white striped dress is perfect for holiday. It’s light, summery and so easy versatile. You could chuck this on over a bikini with flip flops, dress it up with beige wedges and gold jewellery for the evening, or like I have pair it with some trainers and a denim jacket.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my styling tips and it’s given some of you summer inspo. Love H xxx
