Honeymoon part 2…

For the second part of our honeymoon we flew to the Seychelles. All I can say is WOW! As we drove along the coastline to our hotel Joe and I barely said a word to each other, captivated by the stunning views.

We arrived at our hotel The Four Seasons and were driven by buggy to our villa which was breathtaking! The hotel is made up entirely of independent villas so you have lots of privacy with the benefits of hotel service. We have stayed in some amazing hotels around the world and at home but this was next level! The views from our villa were so stunning, the sight of the crystal clear indian ocean and the stunning beach will never grow old!

Our villa had a beautiful deck with views of the sea and the hotels private beach, We had an outdoor shower and an infinity pool. The villa itself was also lovely with the most amazing bath, with views of the sea. The hotel even has its own bath menu. Joe ordered us a romantic bath one day which was so Beautiful. The food at the hotel was brilliant, they had a fantastic sushi bar, and 2 other main restaurants as well as a more relaxed beach bar. We went to a traditional creole night in one of the main restaurants with a traditional creole band and dancing. It was so much fun and we loved the creole food. The beach was so beautiful and peaceful, every day they brought us a selection of refreshments and after the first day all the staff called us by name. MR and Mrs Launchbury.  Being called Mrs Launchbury made me smile every time. They had a wide selection of water sports available and you could also go snorkelling with marine biologists and learn about the coral restoration they were doing. You could even plant your own bit of coral back in the sea bed.

One lunch time we had a traditional seychelles style beach BBQ with the most delicious meats and fish and fresh coconut water It was such a great experience and defiantly the best BBQ we have ever had! Joe also organised a private sunset beach dinner for us one evening to mark a week since our wedding day which was so special!
