Lip crayons..

I have a new beauty product obsession with lip crayons! I’m obsessed. Think of them as a more pigmented lip balm. They are so much more hydrating and easy to apply than a lipstick. I’m not sure why? I think it’s just the shape of them! I have found 3 that are my ultimate musts for your makeup bag this season.

MARC JACOBS – 610 CRUSH KISS POP
This is definitely my favourite of the 3. The colour is insane and how cool is the packaging? It’s so bright but not over the top, it just adds a colour pop and brightens up your whole face. I found this so easy to apply and I didn’t need a lipliner first. The texture is almost chalky, so it doesnt run which I love. It feels super soft on the lips and gives a gorgeous matte finish. You have to try it out!

LAURA GELLER – LOVE ME DEW – CRANBERRY GLAZE
This lip crayon was the most ‘lipstick’ one out of the 3. I definitely needed a lipliner before but that’s not a bad thing because I love lipliners. I didn’t have one this colour so just used a nude one to stop it running. It was surprisingly hydrating and light to wear which is so perfect for summer. I really love the finish this lip crayon gives.

BURTS BEES – 435 NAPA VINEYARD
I never knew burts bees did makeup but I’m so pleased they do. I’m a huge fan of theres and use all there other beauty products so I’m now hooked on this lip crayon. It’s so hydrating on the lips and makes you feel like you’re jus wearing a lip balm but the colour is amazing and has such an amazing pigmentation. This is great for someone who isn’t used to wearing lipstick but wants to give a bold colour a go. It also smells amazing!
