Wedding season..

It’s officially wedding season and I’m so excited to be going to another wedding this year. I absolutley love weddings and everything about them. My favourite thing is picking an outfit, although it can be pretty stressful. What’s appropriate and what’s not? I’m always afraid someone is going to rock up in the exact same outfit too so that’s always on the back of my mind when I’m picking my dress. I stay clear of white for a wedding, some people don’t see that as an issue but for me I could never wear white to anyones wedding but my own. (one day I hope!!)

I usually like being quite traditional for weddings and this year picked a navy lace off the shoulder midi dress from the beloved ASOS. I’ve been crazy busy over the last few weeks with holidays so have had no time to go shopping, but luckily ASOS has the most amazing wedding section on their site with some gorgeous things.

I’ve paired it with some really simple nude heels and my nude Christian Louboutin  clutch bag. I’ve gone for really natural simple makeup too, with a simple nude lip. I’ve got a bit of a tan from my holidays so never really wear much makeup to avoid it looking fake and cakey.

The wedding was absolutely amazing! The ceremony was in a beautiful church, I don’t go to church very often but love it when I do. I love singing hymns they always remind me of when Mallory and I were in our local church choir years ago.The Bride, Toyah, looked so beautiful her dress was incredible. Toyah organised the wedding herself and it was such a gorgeous day from start to finish. Every single detail was perfect and we had such a good day celebrating with them. I was blown away by the venue It was called Tatton park, in Knutsford, Cheshire. It had the  the most amazing grounds. It made me feel really excited for Mallory’s wedding next summer!

    1. Thanks Liv! I love a midi dress for a wedding or a floaty maxi dress. Asos wedding section is great for things like this! For something a bit more glitzy, vergos lounge is fab! H xx
