Joes rugby club have relocated to the midlands which means as of this summer we have to be living there too. We are really excited to move, as much as we have loved London we feel that now with a young child it is a great time to move out of the capital. We don’t really venture into central London very often any more and are looking forward to being more rural. We will be living in a town and not in total countryside but we will be close enough for the best of both worlds.
This weekend we exchanged on our house and went to collect the keys. It’s been a long process as buying a house usually is and we are just so happy that it is all finalised. We were nervous in case we didn’t love it as much as we did the first time we saw it. It has been a while since we looked around but when we walked in we had the same feeling we did when we first walked through the door, we felt right at home! We are not quite ready to move in yet so we have time for some painting and decorating before the big move. Blythe loved exploring all the empty rooms and climbing the stairs.
I am most excited to decorate Blythe’s new bedroom and her playroom I want to make the playroom a really fun space with lots of colour so she will be happy to spend lots of time in there. Toy storage is so important as at the moment we feel like we can’t move for toys! One of my favourite places to shop for Children’s furniture and toys is The great little trading company. They have some great storage solutions and I have just ordered lots of things from them. I will be sharing pictures of our new house once I have finished decorating but at the moment I’m still making decisions.
Moving to a new area can be really daunting. I have lots of friends in London or near by so I will be sad to leave them but I am also really excited to be in a new place. I can’t wait to share with you all our new favourite spots and to share my interior style with you. Let me know if you have any questions or anything you would like for a future post. I would also love to know if you can recommend any fun places for kids in Warwickshire.
Love M xx
