Otis’s newborn shoot..

I really wanted to book a photoshoot in for Otis when he was a few weeks old as I know how quickly time goes and how much they grow. Mallory had said how much she wished she had done it for Blythe. I think a newborn shoot is such a nice idea and gives you something to look back on in years to come. I was contacted by the lovely Fiona who invited us down to her studio for the shoot. She’s based in Ashton (Bristol) and has a lovely little studio which was perfect.

Otis was only 2 weeks old so getting him to cooperate was pretty tricky but she did an excellent job! Looking back on the photos already makes me so happy we did it as he’s already grown and changed so much.

These are some of my favourites from the shoot! He looks so adorable. Time really is flying and I just can’t believe he’s 6 weeks old already. They really have been the most amazing weeks of our life.  I would really recommend doing a newborn photo shoot with your baby, I will really cherish these special photos of Otis. If you are local to Bristol get in touch with Fiona, I’ve attatched Fionas contact details so take a look at her website. Hope you like the pictures!

  1. Gorgeous photos of you and Otis! I totally agree and think if you can, then book a new born shoot. I’m super lucky as my sister In law is a photographer so she captured our whole journey into parenthood! We had a maternity shoot, she was also our birth partner so photographed our birth, we then had new born, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year and most recently 2 years! I cherish these photos so much and love looking back on them and seeing how much my daughter has changed! xo
