Afternoon tea at Sketch

Afternoon tea is one of my favourite things! I have made it my mission to try some of the best afternoon tea venues in London and Sketch has to be up there with on of my favourites. It is a really great location, just off Regent street which is perfect for some pre or post Tea shopping. Afternoon Tea is served in the Gallery, which is a plush pink room which has a rather ‘Great gatsby’ feel to it. Sipping champagne is perfectly in keeping  with the elegant surroundings.  If like me you love an indulgent afternoon tea I would really recommend booking into the gallery at sketch. The food doesn’t disappoint, delicious sandwiches and decetant cakes are piled high. There is an excellent variety of teas to suit everyone, I had a delicious vanilla infused tea which went perfectly with my cakes! image1.JPG

For the occasion I decided to wear this Asos Co-ord skirt and jacket set along with an Asos Blouse . I paired the outfit with my over the knee Stuart Weitzman boots and accessorised with a Mulberry handbag.  I love this outfit,  It was very in keeping with the room and also reminded me of something Blair or Serena would have worn on my all time favourite show, Gossip Girl.

Sketch is probably best known for having the most photographed toilets in London and you can see why! The toilets in sketch are a real statement. The egg shaped toilet cubicles which play sounds and music and the multicoloured ceiling make them the most memorable toilets I have ever been too!  They are quite bizarre and make you feel as if your in a Sci-fi movie!

If your thinking of treating your mum for mothers day this would make for an amazing day out with some shopping.

Let me know if you give it a try!

Love M xx
