I can’t believe my baby is ONE! Where has a year gone! She has grown up far to quickly and our love for her grows every day. She is turning into such little character and is always making us laugh. Even though she has no idea what a birthday is we still wanted to mark the occasion and get together with our nearest and dearest for a little tea party.
We decided on a pink theme, because what little girl (and mummy) doesn’t love pink. I found some gorgeous decorations from Notonthehighstreet.com. Including pink pompoms, tassels and foil ballon letters spelling out ONE.
I ordered the most beautiful unicorn cake from crumbs and dollies which was as delicious as it is beautiful! I ordered a personalised glitter name plaque for the cake form Notonthehighstreet.com and a glitter number 1 candle.
Hattie bought some great photo props from Paperchase which were good fun!
My favourite part of the day was Blythe’s cake smash. It was so much fun watching her get messy and dive into the cake, she absolutely loved it. We baked a giant cupcake covered in pink buttercream icing. She had so much fun and got well and truly covered head to toe. She thought it was delicious and even called the dogs in to help clean up! I would definately recommend doing this for a One year old as they love to touch and put things in their mouth, it is such a fun tactile experience for them and makes for some great photos!
Hope you liked seeing Blythe’s Birthday pictures,
Love M xx
